Calcium Content of Popular Indian Vegan Dishes and Ingredients

So often we hear that the only source of calcium in the USA is dairy products. When you eat common vegan Indian dishes, did you know that you may be consuming lots of calcium? For example, one bowl of Chana Masala (chickpea curry) contains 61 mg. of calcium, 2 small Masala Dosas (crèpes with spicy potato filling) have 56 mg. of calcium, and Palak Kofta Curry (3-4 fried balls of spinach) have 169 mg. of calcium.
