Non-Wool Suits
Looking reasonably well-dressed without using bits of animals is a lot easier than
it used to be, thanks to the synthetic material, micro-fiber. In Canada, The Bay
department store chain carries both jackets and pants made from micro-fiber. They're
relatively dressy, wrinkle-resistant, and inexpensive.
Microfiber jackets, for instance, cost in the range of $150-225 (Canadian) and pants in the neighborhood of $50-70 (Canadian).
No longer do vegans need to suffer comments like: "Hey! Great polyester suit!?

Thanks
Thank you so much for taking the time to send your pamphlets and information on
vegetarianism. All of it was very helpful. I used a lot of them on my poster and
project.
We had a very successful Health Fair. Over 1,000 people attended this year. In the afternoon, about 400 students from five different schools viewed the exhibits. That evening, our parents, families and the general public attended.
Thank you again for all of your help.

Non-Leather Shoes
First of all, I would like to thank you for providing a beautiful, honest, and
helpful magazine.
I have a question. Could you provide me with a list of companies that make very good non-leather shoes? I need sneakers first of all, hiking boots, and others, too.
Finding non-leather shoes no longer seems like a big deal but finding good healthy shoes is. Hiking shoes are hard on the foot and a good shoe would be great.
I hope you can help, and I wish you continued success with Vegetarian Journal.
