2) NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
The new normal has been hectic for this twin mom! Is anyone else struggling to come up with three meals a day, a few snacks in between, games to play, learning activities, teleworking full-time, and trying to maintain some sort of a routine during this pandemic?
Check out these awesome resources from The Vegetarian Resource Group that have been helping my family survive these strange times:

3) TENNESSEE STUDENT ANNA SHERWOOD WINS $5,000.00 VEGETARIAN RESOURCE GROUP SCHOLARSHIP
Anna said: When I was 14-years old, I was the only vegan teenager I knew. ... I wanted to see a website where I could connect with vegans my own age,while at the same time getting high-quality advice and support targeted to my perspective as a teenager. I couldn't find one, so I decided to create it. ([ https://veganteen.net ]
)
For years, I have collected stories on my website from vegan teenagers around the world, as well as written answers based on real questions from teenagers who have contacted me - I realized early on in creating my website that I was not qualified to answer all the questions other teenagers asked me, so I found some adults to act as advisors.
My biggest achievement so far is co-authoring Veganism and Perspective in Vegetarianism and Veganism: A Reference Handbook, which was published in June 2019...
In March 2019, I represented my age group as a non-profit educational table at Nashville's VegFest - One of the members of my VeganTeen Facebook group came up for the day from Alabama

9) VRG HIGHLIGHTS
We received a note from someone in Argentina with a technical question about making tempeh. We were able to connect him with an expert, who answered his query.
We shared references from our Dietary Guidelines Testimony with a health professional trying to influence their professional group to share more vegetarian resources.
Kavitha Shankar, a PhD nutrition student is doing an internship with VRG through Texas Woman's University in Houston. She is assisting some of our undergrad interns, as well as answering a question about vegan milks sent to us by a dietitian.
We have received wonderful applications for the Vegetarian Video Scholarship. A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped review them. To see the video contest rules, visit: [ http://www.vrg.org/videoscholarship.php ]

11) BEQUESTS
The VRG depends on the generous contributions of our members and supporters to continue our educational projects. Though the world may not become vegan in our lifetime, we realize we are planning and working for future generations. Your will and life insurance policies enable you to protect your family, and also to provide a way to give long-lasting support to causes in which you believe. Naming The Vegetarian Resource Group in your will or life insurance policy will enable us to increase our work towards a vegan world.
One suggested form of bequest is: I give and bequeath to The Vegetarian Resource Group, Baltimore, Maryland, the sum of _________ dollars (or if stock, property, or insurance policy, please describe).
To be sure your wishes are carried out, be sure to speak with your attorney specifically about writing the correct information into your will.
