When The Vegetarian Resource Group started in Baltimore in 1982 we held many potlucks because of the lack of vegan restaurants here and throughout most of the country. Compiling a national restaurant guide in 1993, we found about 55 vegan restaurants. Now we see vegan eateries opening almost every day. When traveling in the U.S. and Canada, be sure to use our restaurant guide at [ https://www.vrg.org/restaurant/index.php ]

6) VEGAN BUSINESS FOR SALE
Vegan business for sale. This vegan cheese company has been making and selling their product for over 18 years in retail stores across the US and in Canada. The owner is looking for a change and would love to hand the business over to - preferably passionate and compassionate people - who can see with fresh eyes and can take this company to the next level and beyond. There is so much potential! The core product is easy to make, contains only a handful of ingredients, no cooking, no liquids; it is nutrient dense and tastes great. If this interests you, reach out and let's have a conversation, [email protected]

Our health professionals, activists, and educators work with businesses and individuals to bring about healthful changes in your school, workplace, and community. Registered dietitians and physicians aid in the development of nutrition-related publications and answer member and media questions about vegetarian diets. The Vegetarian Resource Group is a non-profit organization. Financial support comes primarily from memberships, donations, bequests, and book sales.
